On the 4th January 2009 Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs for short) were introduced for all residential property marketed for sale, lease, re-let, rented or marketed for let from that date.

There is also a legal requirement for the Home Report Scotland to include an EPC for all residential properties which were placed on the market for sale after the 1st December 2009 with certain exemptions.

Alternatively you may wish purely to ascertain for yourself the energy efficiency and environmental impact of the house or flat you own or occupy.

Our residential team at Atholls are trained in the preparation of Residential Energy Performance Certificates for all types of residential property including flats and houses.

The Energy Report will include an assessment of the energy efficiency of the property, the environmental impact, an estimated energy use and advice on cost effective improvements that can be made to improve the energy efficiency together advice on achieving even higher standards.
